    No. I can get OHIP coverage as foreign worker which is in the country for 3 months or more. But I took some formal letter from my boss to get OHIP for my wife because she is eligible only if I would be contracted for 3 years or more.

    Just wait and see how huge the line ups @ private doctor's office can be :D

    But yeah, general idea is much better than polyclinics in Ukraine/Russia

    Can a student, training for a commercial pilots licence through a private aviation training school apply for this? I have been in the country for over a year now. Also would it effect my application to be sponsored as a permanent resident?
