Canada Blog: From Work Permit To Permanent Residence: Starting Over: Changed My Employer

    Hi,

I am looking into the process of applying as a permanent resident of Ontario. I have to complete a 2yr. cert. program with a qualifying NOC job, which would give me enough points (i hope) But, was wondering who your immigration lawyer was, and if it is worth paying for their services on top of App. and landing fees?

I am in similar situation. Could you outline the steps to do this? I am a Canadian PR working for a US company from Canada. How did you handle payment/taxes?

Recently, I was refused for the Post Graduate Work Permit and I need to hire an Immigration Lawyer who is trust worthy.
Please let me who your Immigration Lawyer was & how much he charges?
Is he Lorne Waldman? or another lawyer.
